Luxury house Chanel has launched its annual holiday collection, called ‘Les Années Folles’, inspired by the festivities of the roaring twenties. It is now available in selected global travel retail locations.

Chanel is also showcasing the collection with pop-ups and high-profile promotions in key airport locations around the world including Hamad International Airport, Paris Charles De Gaulle and Incheon International Airport among others.

The collection is inspired by Founder Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel’s own wardrobe in the 1920s and features a radiant colour palette of platinum beiges, black and white with plenty of sparkles. The collection offers colour-cosmetics, fragrances and limited-edition gift sets.

The makeup offer comprises the Duo Lumière Illuminating Powder, Lumière Graphique Eyeshadow Palette, Rouge Allure Laque and Rouge Allure L’Extrait lip collections and Le Vernis nail polishes.

The Duo Lumière Illuminating Powder is embossed with sequins. It combines iridescent Pink Champagne and Crystal white shades and brightens the complexion with a pearlescent finish.

New shades are inspired by key motifs and pieces from the Chanel archives

The Lumière Graphique Eyeshadow Palette offers Pink Gold, Diamond White and Shimmering Black Shades to create a complete festive eye look; while the Rouge Allure Laque introduces two new shades: Golden Beige and Fancy Prune.

The Rouge Allure L’Extrait welcomes four new shades: Midnight Red, Roaring Purple, Beige Brut and Rouge Puissant; while Le Vernis introduces three shades inspired by key pieces in the Chanel archives: White Silk, Tuxedo and Sequins.

New releases include the N°5 Body Oil, Bleu de Chanel Shaving Brush and special charms. The Body Oil is available in a 250ml bottle and delicately scents the skin and provides a subtle sheen. The shaving brush is designed specifically to complement the Bleu de Chanel grooming routine and comes with a magnetic holder.

Limited-edition packaging and bespoke charms give the range enhanced gifting appeal

The charms come in either N°5, Double C or a fragrance bottle motif and give customers the chance to personalise their Chanel gifts.

Chanel has released limited-edition cases for three of its most popular fragrances for the holiday gifting season: N°5, Coco Mademoiselle and Bleu de Chanel. N°5 is encased in a gold and white case, while Coco Mademoiselle is packaged in a pearl and gold case. The masculine Bleu de Chanel comes in a limited gold and blue case.

For the first time ever, Chanel has released limited-edition gift sets which pair best-selling fragrances with an indulgent body oil. These are the N°5 Gift Set, Coco Mademoiselle Gift Set and Les Exclusifs de Chanel Gift Set.

The N°5 and Coco Mademoiselle Gift Sets offer a 50ml Eau de Parfum and 100ml Body Oil. The Les Exclusifs de Chanel Gift Set brings together three 75ml Les Exclusifs de Chanel fragrances of the buyer’s choosing.

Chanel has also released a limited-edition Bleu de Chanel Travel Essentials Set which comprises a Bleu de Chanel Parfum, Bleu de Chanel After Shave Lotion and Boy de Chanel Lip Balm. ✈
