Lifetrons Switzerland introduced a range of new products at last week’s TFWA World Exhibition and was Highly Commended in the 2015 Frontier Awards Star Product of the Year category for its Pro Travel Premium Photo Lens System.
The Swiss electronics and accessory company aims to extend its network in travel retail, with a focus on the ground. The company said it has performed “exceptionally well” in travel retail, noting expansion in both airlines and duty free shops.

The Lifetrons Power Compact Metallic Charger features an ultra lightweight metallic design, 3.1A dual-USB port for rapid charging and 5200mAh battery. The charger can extend talk time by up to 32 hours on most smartphones, 16 hours for iPhone and three hours of web surfing for iPad. It has been designed to be power saving and safe on flights, with safety controls to prevent overvoltage, overheating and short circuits. It includes an international warranty, travel pouch and two micro-USB cables.
The Ultra Power Pro Travel Adaptor offers four built-in USB ports, a patented, internal four plug system that works in more than 150 countries and has the capacity to charge up to five devices at once.
Lifetrons introduced a new and improved version of its 4-Port USB Adaptor which includes four interchangeable AC plugs. It features a safety control to protect devices from overload and short circuits, a micro-USB charging cable is included along with a travel pouch. The new adaptor offers 35W power with 7A USB charge compared with the previous model of 24W power with 4.8 USB charge. The product is confirmed to launch on several airlines and Lifetrons expects it to be one of its top selling products in 2016.
A new 3-in-1 Photo Essentials Travel Lens Set follows on the launch of the Liftetrons Pro Travel lens range in 2014 and claims to offer “complete creative freedom” for mobile users with its wide, fisheye and macro lenses. The set comes in a carrying case which includes microfibre lens cloth.
The Photo Essentials Premium Lens Set features five optical lenses which attach to smartphone or tablet via a universal clip. A carrying case and microfiber lens cloth are included.
The DrumBassTM XBT Metallic Speaker set is pocket-sized and said to offer state-of-the-art portable audio technology with built-in bass support and Bluetooth wireless playback up to 5m away. The speakers feature a voice message that relays the speaker status, LED ring for power indication, an international warranty, travel storage case and cables.
The Ultra Fit Smart Health Band has been rated for water resistance and tracks sleep, steps and calories from the wrist and keeps the wearer updated with the time, date and call notifications. Lifetrons has also designed an app to work in conjunction with the band to monitor daily patterns and achievements.
The Smart Travel Inflatable Pillow features a quick pump and release system for adjustable comfort while saving space and luggage weight. Its cover is removable.
