During last month’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, Lindt invited clients to create their own chocolate masterpieces at a party held at the Carlton Hotel. Guests were guided by one of Lindt’s chief Master Chocolatiers, Stefan Bruderer.
The second half of the evening celebrated the brand’s Diva range. Guests were served Champagne in a glass which contained a “˜diamond’, some genuine and some fake. H.Mounier’s Luidmila Andrusova and TFWA’s Marissa Phanivong were among the lucky party guests who got to take home a real diamond.
Lindt & Sprüngli Head of Global Duty Free Peter Zehnder said: “The Cannes TFWA conference unites the whole of the travel retail world. It provides us with a unique forum to catch up with friends and colleagues, to share experiences, and to exchange ideas that help us make progress in the fast-paced and fascinating market that is travel retail. Lindt recognises the huge importance of this event, and we have been supporting it since its inception 30 years ago.
“When we get together with our clients it’s usually to have some form of serious conversation so it was great to have the opportunity to relax. At Lindt we understand the importance of the theatre of retail, and this event enabled us to demonstrate how we can create an experience that is engaging and enticing.”
*More news and comment on Lindt’s travel retail strategy and its latest developments in the channel will appear via The Moodie Report very soon.
