FRANCE. Longchamp has appointed Stephanie Pena as its new Regional Sales Director in the Americas, following the departure of Alexandre Granotier, who has left to work in a family business in South America.
Pena, who joined the French leathergoods company’s Miami office on 23 June, is responsible for the Americas region, including South and Central America (domestic and duty free), North American duty free and the Caribbean (domestic and duty free).
In a letter announcing Granotier’s departure, International Director Stephane Beraud said: “On this occasion, I would like – on behalf of our General Manager Jean Cassegrain – to warmly thank Alexandre for his dedication to the brand over the last five years. Alexandre started with us on the Asia Pacific area where, under his leadership, the brand has very strongly developed on these new markets. After three years in this position, Alexandre took over the responsibility of our regional office based in Miami.
“His professionalism and charismatic approach (coupled with a cheerful personality) have brought a lot to the Brand which has enjoyed, under his leadership, sustained growth rates on all markets.”
As an American citizen with Central American origin, Pena has worked in the region on different assignments with the Estée Lauder Group as Area Sales Manager and more recently with Elizabeth Arden as Business Development Manager.
Commenting on Pena’s appointment, Beraud said: “I am fully confident that, with her expertise and her knowledge, Stephanie will continue to strengthen the Longchamp presence in this part of the world.”
