L’Oréal and Biotherm animate Aqua portfolio in Asia Pacific

SOUTH KOREA. L’Oréal Produits de Luxe Travel Retail Worldwide has revealed further details of the Biotherm Deep Hydration event that made its debut in Asia Pacific earlier this summer. The animation was created to promote the brand’s new Aquasource cream, and also to highlight Aquapower for men.

The event first appeared at Seoul Incheon International Airport – where it ran from 1-30 June – before rolling out in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand.

At Incheon, the event incorporated 7m panel visuals, impactful outposts, TV interviews and commercials, ceiling banners and an eye-catching water tank, in line with the hydration theme.

Thousands of flyers were distributed by promoters, to encourage travellers to visit the Biotherm counters, where they were given free product samples. In addition, travellers who made a purchase were entered into a special prize-winning draw.

According to L’Oréal, the event was a spectacular success for both Lotte and Shilla Duty Free, with Biotherm recording its highest ever sales since opening at the location in 2006.
