L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International creates new travel retail worldwide organisation – 21/10/08

Olivier Teboul will head the new L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International Global Marketing operation in the travel retail sector

FRANCE. L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International (Luxury Products Division) today announced a major revamp of its worldwide travel retail organisation.

The luxury products division of the French beauty giant has created two major operational strands for its global travel retail business.

A Global Marketing operation headed by Olivier Teboul includes:

– Worldwide marketing responsibilities
– The coordination with all the international brands and operational zones worldwide of L’Oréal Luxury Products Division
– Responsibility for a market research plan worldwide
– The global brand animations development for all brands
– Worldwide media strategy & budgets (inflight magazines & professional press)
– The travel-exclusive products development responsibilities.

Within this global marketing structure, Agathe In, previously Lancôme Travel Exclusive Marketing Manager has been appointed Travel Exclusive Marketing Director for all the L’Oréal luxury brands

Secondly a new Commercial and Retail Development operation takes charge of all sales activities.

Christophe Marque will head a new Commercial and Retail Development operation taking charge of all sales activities

This entirely new sector is intended to improve the company’s vision and commercial organization. It includes responsibility for the following:

* The integration of YSL Beauté (acquired by L’Oréal in early 2008) within the group’s travel retail portfolio
* To develop a commercial strategy with major multi-zone clients
* Acceleration of the roll-out of the group’s new brands
* Merchandising
* Training
* Media in airports. Sales Development
. Merchandising
. Training
. Airport Media optimisation

As reported, Christophe Marque will head this operation.

The former Travel Retail Division Manager – Lancôme – Asia/Pacific has been named Commercial and Retail Development Director, working closely with Travel Retail Division Managing Director Eric Tarral.

Marque’s role at Lancôme has been taken by Lina Ly, former General Manager of Chanel cosmetics on the China domestic market.
