SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has appointed former DFS Group Director of Merchandising Fragrances Jeffrey Davis as Merchandising Director for its newly formed Merchandising Innovation Team, effective this week.
Lotte Duty Free said that it had created the new division and appointed Davis in order to execute a successful strategy of innovation across its business.
Davis said: “Vision and risk-taking will prevail as key components to ensure Lotte Duty Free continues to be a leader in the industry. My team will be traveling to find the latest and hottest brands and trends to a consumer that demands and deserves this from today’s top retailers. The consumer will know that Lotte Duty Free is the only destination of choice in a world of many.
“Look out for many exciting changes at Lotte Duty Free in 2016. We will wow the consumer with innovation from the shop floor to online. We will reinvigorate the duty free business with several key creative initiatives in 2016 at Lotte Duty Free.”

Lotte Duty Free said that Davis had “amazing experience” and a successful career at DFS. “He built a strong international business catering to all nationalities and created a new and innovative shopping experience with top brands and introduced many firsts,” the retailer said.
Before joining DFS in July 2008, David held senior roles with The Body Shop and Macy’s West.
