According to a report from Tenasia, Lotte will also host a flea market on all three days to sell outfits from its star models, including Super Junior, 2PM and Choshinsung, with all profits going to social enterprise The Beautiful Store.

It added that the event will be the retailer’s biggest festival since it started in 2006, with this year’s edition the first to be held in Seoul.

Lotte Duty Free has aligned itself with a number of major groups and names from Korean pop culture in recent years, in an effort to market to consumers at home and from abroad.

As previously reported, the retailer has become adept at capitalising on the phenomenon of hallyu – the popularity of Korean music and film across China and Southeast Asia – notably through its Star Avenue at Incheon International Airport, as well as through its marketing campaigns.
