Lotte Duty Free rewards 5,000th foreign visitor to Welcome Center amid ‘Korea Grand Sale’ campaign’

SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free last week presented KRW500,000 (US$345) in LDF PAY to the 5,000th foreign customer to visit the Welcome Center in Myeongdong, Seoul.

LDF PAY is a digital payment platform launched in 2019. Based on the travel retailer’s membership programme, it can be used for online and offline purchases. Online and offline shopping rewards are linked through the system.

The customer presentation on 7 February commemorated the nationwide ‘Korea Grand Sale’ (15 January to 28 February), a Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism promotion which offers benefits to foreign visitors across various sectors such as shopping, culture and tourism.

The lucky winner gets a warm welcome from Lotte Duty Free team members as they collectively brave Seoul’s bitterly cold -2.2° 7 February temperature

Lotte Duty Free is offering various additional incentives until 28 February as part of the campaign.

Foreign customers who visit the offline downtown store with an exclusive coupon book will be issued a Gold membership and receive PRE-LDF PAY and instant discount coupons. They will also receive special points worth up to US$10 for Lotte Internet Duty Free purchases via the QR code in the coupon book. ✈
