LS travel retail North America awarded seven F&B concessions at LAX

US. LS travel retail North America and Concessions Management Inc have announced the award by Westfield Concession Management of seven food & beverage concessions in the New Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The food & beverage line-up combines brands with national presence and local favourites of Angeleños:
• III Forks, a steak and grill fine dining concept with locations in several US cities;
• Petrossian’s Champagne and Caviar Bar in cooperation with the world’s premier buyer and importer of Russian caviar with US locations in New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles;
• Cantina Laredo, a casual dining concept serving modern Mexican cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere with over 125 locations across 18 states;
• Lucky Fish by Sushi Roku, a sushi bar developed for TBIT by Sushi Roku which has four locations in the Los Angeles area;
• James Beach, a Venice Beach staple renowned for serving what is touted as L.A.’s best fish tacos;
• Drink L.A., a martini bar tailored to the LAX clientele;
• Scoreboard L.A., a soccer-themed sports bar and restaurant

Concessions Management Inc President Gilbert Aranza said: “The brands we have aligned for TBIT will help take the airport dining experience to a new level. I’m very proud of what our team has assembled for this opportunity.”

Part of the redevelopment of TBIT, the seven locations are expected to open in the spring of 2013 and are projected to generate over US$200 million sales over the duration of the contract.
