NEW ZEALAND. LS travel retail Pacific has begun operation of one of the two duty free concessions at Auckland Airport.
It opened Aelia Duty Free stores in Departures and Arrivals, and at Pier B, over the weekend, in line with previous reports.
LS travel retail has tailored this latest version of Aelia Duty Free has been tailored specifically for Auckland Airport.
It aims to add more comprehensive product and innovative offers over time, to reflect the very best of New Zealand and the world.
With a vision to intrigue, experience and indulge, Aelia Duty Free is committed to delivering a number of world firsts and unique experiences to Auckland Airport, both instore and online.
“We are thrilled that our partnership with Auckland Airport has enabled our duty free vision to reach this significant milestone,” said LS travel retail Pacific’s CEO Matthieu Mercier.

Aelia Duty Free will significantly increase LS travel retail Pacific’s footprint at Auckland Airport, where it already operates several travel essentials stores.
LS travel retail Pacific and Aer Rianta secured the duty free concessions at Auckland Airport in February, and will have at least seven years of operation.
