CHINA. Eyewear house Luxottica Group has partnered with DFS Group for the worldwide exclusive pre-launch of the ‘Prada Special Project for Asia Sunglasses’ collection.
The range is available in DFS Group’s downtown T Galleria stores in Hong Kong and Macau, ahead of a global launch in February.
It marks the fourth consecutive time that the eyewear specialist and travel retailer have partnered to preview a Prada worldwide exclusive.
The Prada Special Project for Asia Sunglasses collection is available in black and rose gold.
The collection is crafted to suit Asian features, and features large metal frames, adjustable nose pads and oversized lenses.

“The Prada Special Project for Asia pre-launch collaboration, the fourth consecutive execution of its kind, is a reflection of our long-standing partnership with DFS,” said Luxottica Global Travel Retail Director Enrico Destro.
“At Luxottica, we recognise the importance of the Asia Pacific region in driving category growth and we strive to meet our traveling consumers’ ever-changing demands and needs.”
The collection’s integrated marketing campaign will run throughout the holiday season across travel retail Asia Pacific. It also features prominently across DFS Group’s lightboxes and on its website and social media channels, as part of the travel retailer’s extensive Lunar New Year activities.
In addition to this, customers will also receive a Prada pouch as an exclusive gift with purchase in-stores.
As reported, DFS Group is marking Lunar New Year 2020, the Year of the Rat, with a series of promotions, exclusive offers and activities at downtown T Galleria and airport stores worldwide until 16 February.
