MAC Cosmetics has unveiled a new make-up collection called Nail Transformations. It will be available in travel retail worldwide from August.
The line, created in collaboration with fashion and celebrity manicurist Marian Newman – a former forensic scientist – comprises nail lacquers and topcoats designed to give nails a stylish twist, according to the brand. Six glowing topcoats in Texturize, Shadow, Blue, Pink, Green and Gold are said to transform the look of existing nail lacquers into totally new shades.
There are three regular Studio Nail Lacquer shades: Skin, Quiet Time and Rebel. Texturize is a clear leather-effect topcoat; Highlight is described as a sheer blue pearl transformer; the aptly-named Shadow is a sheer blackening topcoat. Three Liquid Pigment shades transform nail polish with either a pink, green or gold hue.
