THE NETHERLANDS. Capi and Philips have teamed up with Dutch national museum Rijksmuseum, which is dedicated to art and history, to launch a limited-edition Dutch Masters Philips Shaver S9000 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
The partners aim to offer consumers, and in particular Asian travellers, a product with a strong Dutch local heritage; one that is ‘Made in Holland’.
The shaver is manufactured in The Netherlands at Philips’ factory in Drachten. Its packaging is based on the famous painting, The Night Watch, from Dutch Master Rembrandt. The shaver comes with a docking station, travel pouch, separate trimmer and postcards with paintings from other Dutch Masters.
Philips Business Marketing Director Male Grooming Olaf de Koning said: “We are very glad that we have realised a distinctive proposition with an excellent execution at Schiphol thanks to our very good relationship with Capi.”
Capi-Lux Managing Director Peter Wiggers added: “We value our close relationship with Philips and we are excited to launch the Dutch Masters edition of the Shaver S9000 with Philips and the Rijksmuseum.”
The limited-edition shaver is available now at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and in all other Capi stores.
