USA. HMSHost has opened its seventh airport food & beverage outlet at Las Vegas McCarran International in partnership with Shake Shack, the concept based on the modern-day roadside burger stand.
It will be operated with HMSHost partner MB Concession and is located in Terminal 1 in the Rotunda Area that connects the A and B concourses, with expansive runway views.
Shake Shack was founded in New York in 2001 and is known for its 100% Angus beef burgers and flat-top Vienna beef dogs, 100% cage-free chicken, spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine.
The restaurant design mixes angular rooflines, reminiscent of the original Madison Square Park location in New York, with a modern desert palm tree motif.
HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Anthony Alessi said: “Opening Shake Shack in McCarran was a priority for HMSHost to give Las Vegas travellers one of the leading casual dining experiences available today.”
He added: “We thank Clark County and our operating partner MB Concession for making this wonderful enhancement possible at McCarran.”
This latest Shake Shack airport opening follows the opening of a new outlet in partnership with HMSHost in the new US$1 billion North Terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
