Makeupista, a joint venture between Dufry and L’Oréal Consumer Products Division, has made its debut at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Makeupista is a shop-in-shop which offers travellers the latest beauty tips and trends as well as a customised make-up service. Customers can purchase products from Maybelline, l’Oréal and nail brand Essie and treat themselves to a complimentary manicure at Essie’s nail bar.

A specially developed make-up app, Makeup Genius, allows Makeupista visitors to virtually test make-up via uploading a picture of themselves to tablets.
“We are proud that Stockholm Arlanda has been chosen as the first airport in the world to launch this concept. Our passengers can now get advice from experts on site as well as an unusual range of products from brands that we know are very popular,” said Swedavia Director of Commercial Services Magnus Ros.
Dufry Sweden General Manager Karl Walter added: “We are really pleased to introduce the world’s first Makeupista concept together with L’Oréal at Stockholm Arlanda. This is another step forward in our continuous drive to offer our customers a wide range of products and services in an innovative environment.”
