Marcolin Group enters into exclusive eyewear partnership with Max&Co

Marcolin Group is consolidating its share in the eyewear market with the new licensing agreement

Marcolin Group has acquired the exclusive license to design, produce and distribute Italian fashion brand Max&Co.’s eyewear range for five years. The agreement will run from 2020-2024.

According to Marcolin Group, the new eyewear designs will offer “lightweight frames in eye-catching colour palettes with Max&Co.’s signature brand detailing.” The collection will be available in selected opticians and Max&Co. boutiques worldwide.

Max&Co. is part of the Max Mara Fashion Group and offers contemporary womenswear and accessories. It recently unveiled a new brand identity and creative direction at Milan Fashion Week.

According to Marcolin Group CEO Massimo Renon, the partnership will not only enrich the group’s offer in the eyewear sector, but also promote experimentation and creativity. He said: “We are honoured to have entered into this agreement for Max&Co., which enriches our offering in the women’s eyewear sector.”

“The opportunity to work on the design, production and distribution of this brand allows us to experiment with new ways of creativity and style, and to express the full potential of Max&Co.’s contemporary image through their eyewear,” added Renon.

For Max&Co., Brand Director Elia Maramotti, the partnership with Marcolin Group will help the brand transmit its unique fashion vision into its eyewear ranges. She said: “Our partnership with Marcolin Group marks an important step in the evolution of Max&Co. Together, we will develop design driven eyewear, with the same attention to materials and details found in our ready-to-wear collections.”
