Italian eyewear house Marcolin has strengthened its licensing portfolio through two key developments – a four-year agreement with American fashion brand rag & bone and an extended partnership with sportswear company adidas, now running through 2032.
The rag & bone partnership, forged through its parent companies Guess and brand management firm WHP Global, marks a natural extension of Marcolin’s long-standing relationship with Guess.
The agreement will see Marcolin design, produce and distribute a new line of premium sunglasses and optical frames for the New York label. The collection will be available through rag & bone boutiques, online and through select retailers.

Marcolin CEO & General Manager Fabrizio Curci commented, “We are pleased to partner with an iconic brand like rag & bone, which perfectly embodies a contemporary and authentic aesthetic rooted in New York culture.”
Guess Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer Paul Marciano said, “Guess has been working with the highly talented team from Marcolin for over 30 years on delivering fashionable trend-right eyewear to the market.
“We are thrilled to expand that partnership to rag & bone further growing the lifestyle of the brand through their expertise, commitment to style and innovation.”

Meanwhile, Marcolin has extended its global licensing agreement with adidas for both adidas Sport and adidas Originals eyewear collections, continuing a collaboration that began in 2020.
The adidas Sport line caters to high-performance needs with technical materials and innovation-led design, while adidas Originals fuses streetwear trends with a sport-inspired identity.
According to Marcolin, both labels share a commitment to innovation, sustainability and quality – principles that will continue to underpin the extended collaboration. ✈
