Other upgraded services will include new cash machines from Bank of America and The Centurion Lounge for American Express card members. Other infrastructure – including escalators, toilets, seating and power sockets – will also be extended and enhanced.
Construction has already started and will be completed by the end of the year.
MarketPlace Development President Paul McGinn said: “The Food & Shops programme at LaGuardia has won some of the most prestigious awards in the industry, and our goal is to continue to provide travellers with an exceptional shopping and dining experience and up-to-date amenities as a new terminal is being built.”
LaGuardia Terminal B serves around 13 million passengers a year on ten airlines, with domestic passengers the dominant traffic segment (450 daily flights to 61 US destinations, compared to 34 daily flights to five international destinations).
