Marshall Retail Group launches exclusive range with motorcycle master and TV star Paul Tuetul Jr.

US. WHSmith-owned Marshall Retail Group (MRG) has announced an exclusive, limited-time merchandise collaboration with Paul Jr. Designs, owned by Paul Teutul Jr., star of American Chopper. The first of its kind product launch will be housed by MRG store The Dean inside the newly-renovated Terminal B at New York LaGuardia Airport.

The merchandise range starts at US$32.95 and includes custom screen t-shirts, hats and hoodies.

Motorcycle designer and fabricator Paul Teutul Jr. has been moulding metal into shape since the age of 12, when he began an apprenticeship at his father’s steel business

Motorcycle master Teutul Jr. is widely recognised as the chief designer and fabricator of some of the world’s most famous motorcycles, as featured in his hit television series on the Discovery Channel.

Teutul Jr.’s expertise and craftmanship can be seen at first hand with four uniquely-designed bikes placed throughout the retail store and Terminal B.

The new range will be sold in LaGuardia retail store The Dean, a men’s emporium featuring products from popular brands including Boss, Herschel, Kiehl’s, Mizzen + Main, Shinola, TUMI and Vince Camuto

MRG and Paul Jr. Designs are commemorating the new partnership with several exclusive events including a meet and greet, signing and electric bike giveaway. Today, visitors to LaGuardia’s Terminal B will have the opportunity to meet Teutul Jr. inside The Dean.

He will return for an exclusive signing on 28 July and again on 11 August in celebration of his 811 bike and National Safe Digging Day.

MRG CEO Michael C. Wilkins said: “We are thrilled to have this partnership between Paul Jr. Designs and The Dean. We are so excited to have the opportunity to bring Paul Jr.’s incredible designs to our shoppers at LaGuardia’s Terminal B and look forward to a continued collaboration between our brands.”

Teutul Jr. said: “Paul Jr. Designs is extremely excited to partner with Marshall Retail Group. This incredible opportunity brings two brands together with each being able to offer something unique to each other.”

The Build Off Bike – which will be on show in LaGuardia Terminal B – was created as part of a three-day competition in Las Vegas. “Chopper Live, the Build Off” aired on the Discovery Channel and was the first live build off of its kind. This bike stands about 30% larger than an average motorcycle, is made up almost entirely of copper and aluminum and is inspired by a P-51 Mustang airplane. The Build Off Bike took home first place in the competition.

He added: “MRG is affording PJD the ability to relaunch our brand at the new, state-of-the-art LaGuardia Terminal B. In return, through the display of our world-famous custom motorcycles, we are creating a truly unique experience for their retailers, consumers and those who travel through Terminal B.”
