CHINA. The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie’s extensive coverage of the Hainan offshore duty free sector has been recognised by the Hainan International Media Center’s Overseas Communication Officers programme.
Moodie has officially been appointed to the honorary role of ‘Overseas Communication Officer’ by the Hainan International Media Center.
He will continue to actively promote Hainan and China to the world and help build a bridge of communication between the Hainan Free Trade Port and the world.
Moodie commented: “I am tremendously honoured to be recognised in this manner for my work on Hainan, which will continue long into the future. I love Hainan both as a beautiful and wondrous destination as well as for the extraordinary business story that the Free Trade Port programme and the offshore duty free industry represent.
“I also think that it is critical in a troubled world to build mutual understanding between countries and cultures and I intend to devote much effort to that principle going forward.”
