Chief Executive Officer Anoop Nilamber, who confirmed the figures to The Moodie Davitt Report, mainly attributed the rise in income to an increase in passenger traffic at host airport Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International.
He also cited an increase in prices and investments in marketing as key factors in the strong financial performance.
MDFP operates duty free stores in both the arrivals and departures halls at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International, the main airport of Mauritius.
