GERMANY. Maxxium Worldwide has announced the creation of Maxxium Germany Travel Retail, the last stepping stone in the drinks group’s Global Travel Retail (GTR) operations covering a number of new regions.
During the past 12 months the main focus in Germany has been building up an organisation, transferring the portfolio of Maxxium brands from Hermann G. Joerss GmbH, and establishing the supply chain, said Erik Juul-Mortensen, President of Maxxium Global Travel Retail.
Maxxium Germany Travel Retail has been operational since October 2005 and is responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of all four shareholders’ brands (produced by The Edrington Group, Jim Beam Brands, Rémy Cointreau and V&S Group) in the duty free and travel retail market in Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as in Eastern Europe.
