GERMANY. After a three-month building period, McDonald’s has opened a new outlet at Stuttgart Airport, which the company described as one of its most modern.
The new outlet measures 270sq m and comprises an area of outdoor seating. It lies in the zone between the motorway slip road and airport car park P10. The fast food chain had previously operated from a location close to car park P4. It houses a McCafé concept and a Drive-In option. The restaurant offers the regular McDonald’s range as well as coffee and cakes.
Stuttgart Airport Contracts Manager Petra Kleemann said the airport aims to enhance the attractiveness of the commercial area in which McDonald’s now lies. Besides office buildings, the zone also houses a new tyre repair service and a petrol station.
