USA. Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) continues to reshape its commercial offer with 34 of a planned 50 new retail and dining concepts now open.
In the last month alone MSP has opened several new locations, as follows:
Inspired Life + Art: A specialty retail store near Gate 9 in Terminal 1 Concourse C that features local, regional and global artisan products such as pottery, glass, metal and wood. Wearable art is also offered, including jewellery, scarves and apparel pieces.
Estes Twin Cities News: A convenience and news store that carries magazines, books, snacks and a limited selection of electronics, beverages and gift items. The store is located on Concourse A near Gate 1 in Terminal 1.
Vino Volo: The popular US wine bar concept also features here a full-service restaurant offering a selection of wines by the glass and bottles to purchase. Its small plate menu complements the wine flights. Located in T1 Concourse C near Gate 6.
Hudson News: This T1 Concourse D outlet near Gate 1 carries books, magazines, beverages, apparel, snacks, electronics, sundry items and a grab-and-go cooler with sandwiches, yogurt and other packaged foods.
JetSet News: This shop, just opened on Concourse F near Gate 4 in T1, carries beverages, snacks, books, magazines and other items.
MSP Duty Free by Dufy: The world’s leading duty free retailer recently opened this renovated store near the entrance to Concourse G in T1. The shop carries a diverse liquor selection for international passengers and a wide variety of goods for international and domestic travellers, including cosmetics, fragrances, US and international chocolates and Minnesota-made goods.
Roasting Plant: The coffee shop, which opened this week in T1 Concourse E, uses a ‘Javabot’ [a crystal-clear tube system, which stores beans and delivers them to the roaster] to roast, grind and brew the customer’s choice of beans and delivers them one cup at a time to a barista at the pick-up counter. Roasting Plant also offers pastries and food including salads and sandwiches.
Caribou Coffee: This renovated outlet near the entrance to Concourse G opened on 21 January with a bright, modern design and plentiful seating.
Frivolous: This new gift shop in T1’s Airport Mall features art, stationery, hand-crafted goods, cards, home decor, scents, jewellery, children’s toys and accessories.
Open Book: Another T1 Airport Mall store, this is a partnership between Open Book, The Loft Literary Center, Minnesota Center for Book Arts and Milkweed Editions. It offers an extensive range of fiction and non-fiction books, children’s toys and books, magazines, stationery, paper goods, greeting cards, e-readers and gifts.
