MONACO. Misaki has introduced a completely new jewellery line called Monaco, developed in collaboration with Axel Mees, a famous European designer who has created jewels for celebrities such as David Bowie and Princess Stephanie of Monaco.
The new designs are described as “daring and adventurous” by Misaki Product and Marketing Manager Ilse van Gompel. The Monaco collection comprises a range of sterling silver, gold plated, semi-precious stone and pearl jewellery.
The unique pieces are “haute jewellery at an affordable price”, according to the Monte Carlo-based company. Items include the Mees ring with dual-tone coloured stones entwined by sterling silver. The unusual shapes include extra-long oval stones, double band and square rings.
As well as the Monaco line, the company is launching fresh products in the Misaki collection. All the new products were shown for the first time during the BaselWorld jewellery and watch fair this month. It was Misaki’s first presence at the fair. In addition, the collections will be presented at the IAADFS show in Fort Lauderdale (Booth 2305) and the Tax Free Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore (Booth F18).
