Misslyn (acquired by Artdeco in 2011) has unveiled its new Beauty, Sex and Rock “˜n’ Roll collection for autumn 2013. Inspired by the ‘It’ Girls of the fashion and music industry, the look is said to be wild, casual and sexy. The line includes products for eyes, nails and lips.
The centrepiece of the collection is the new mineral- and fragrance-free compact blusher. Available in shade English Rose, it claims to deliver a fresh and luminous complexion. The brush, made of lamb’s hair, absorbs the ideal volume of powder and distributes it evenly onto the skin.
The nail portfolio includes on-trend leather-look nail polish and metal stud stickers. The former creates a matte leather effect; the latter – available in two colours – adds a ‘rocky’ edge to any look. The nail offer also includes new shades such as Wild Passion and Rockabilly, complete with UV filters to protect against fading.

The eye offer includes High Shine Trio Eyeshadow – which comprises three coordinated taupe tones – and a Waterproof Color Liner, said to be ideal for creating smoky eyes. Completing the product line-up is the Shiny Lip Color, which aims to make lips look fuller and smoother, according to the brand.
In other news, Misslyn has expanded its portfolio to include a variety of BB products. The range includes BB Cream, BB Concealer, BB Cream SPF 30 – a tinted moisturising cream with UVA and UVB sun protection – and BB Concealer Cover & Hydro Care, which address signs of tiredness and the appearance of fine lines.
