Coccinelle has revealed that Italian top model Mariacarla Boscono will be the face of its Spring/Summer 2016 advertising campaign.
Said to be a hymn to beauty, the ad campaign references lightness and femininity and features pink as the key colour. The promotional video includes pink handbags that turn into kittens in the arms of Mariacarla Boscono.
Coccinelle Communications Manager Eleonora Pujia said: “In the new campaign we stress the positive idea of a conscious and confident woman, a determined and concrete woman who never loses her femininity and beauty.”

The cat, said to be women’s favourite animal, is the star of the new Coccinelle catalogue. According to Coccinelle, “the attitude of cats had an immediate connection with the brand”, leading it to come up with #Coccinellelovescats as the campaign name.
Advertising images feature the new it-bag Perine, which is described as a “versatile and glamorous shopping bag”. The Perine comes in suede/leather and leather/gold and has perforated leather finishings.
The ad campaign was shot by Billy Kidd, his fifth campaign for Coccinelle, and will be published online and in international fashion magazines this month.
