Moët Hennessy announces successful acquisition of Glenmorangie – 11/01/05

FRANCE. Moët Hennessy announced today the successful completion of its recommended offer, launched in November 2004, for Glenmorangie PLC, one of the world’s leading single malt whisky producers.

Moët Hennessy is the wines and spirits business of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading luxury group. LVMH now owns Glenmorangie which will be developed within the Moët Hennessy portfolio. The Glenmorangie Group also owns two other malt whisky brands: Glen Moray and Ardbeg.

Moët Hennessy’s portfolio comprises Hennessy cognac, Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Ruinart, Belvedere vodka and Château d’Yquem.
