Montegrappa has teamed up with French Formula One driver Jean Alesi to create a limited-edition timepiece.
The wristwatch was unveiled at the openings of the Montegrappa Writing and Business Centre at the Atlantis Palm Hotel and Resort in Dubai and the Montegrappa boutique in the Hyatt Plaza Pari Gallery in Doha.
The Jean Alesi Chronograph, limited to 300 pieces, is water-resistant and features the black and red colour scheme often found in motor racing.
The bezel surrounding the dial echoes cockpit hardware in the Ferrari cars driven by Alesi while other details resemble the pattern that lightens competition disc brakes.
According to Montegrappa, the timepiece’s collector status is enhanced by its black and red packaging, which includes Alesi’s signature in silver embossing.
