Flying high: The Yuneec Experience Center is the company’s first at an airport |
NETHERLANDS. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport’s latest promotion features an array of flight simulator stations – giving passengers the chance to test and fly Yuneec International’s range of multicopters.
The electric aviation company has opened its first Yuneec Airport Experience Center at the B-Pier of Schiphol’s security area. It said the aim was to allow travellers to discover its product range and the various features on offer, rather than selling at the site.
The ‘UAV-Pilot’ flight simulator stations at the 27sq m centre allow passengers to fly the Yuneec multicopters in real time as they wait at the airport.
Yuneec staff are on hand to demonstrate and explain the product range. The centre is open during the airport’s regular shopping hours.
Schiphol Airport Commercial Services & Media’s Anne-Marie Zuidweg said: “We are thrilled that Yuneec chose Schiphol for this exciting promotion. Inviting and entertaining activities such as these demonstrate how at Schiphol brands are truly connected to the world.”
