More than 900 products are available to buy on the new online portal of Oman Air’s Sindbad website |
OMAN. Muscat Duty Free has teamed up with Oman Air to launch an online store for the airline’s loyalty scheme customers.
The online portal allows members of Oman Air’s loyalty programme Sindbad to spend miles on Muscat Duty Free products, and features more than 900 products from a variety of categories, including phones, electronics, chocolates and perfumes.
Members can order the products online from the Sindbad website, and collect them when they depart from or arrive into Muscat International Airport. A nominated individual can also collect the products.
“Oman Air believes that its members should have a good selection of reward options to choose from and spend their hard-earned miles on. The Muscat Duty Free store is our latest endeavour towards increasing the ease, convenience and choice of redemptions that we offer our most valued customers,” said Oman Air Acting General Manager Marketing Nabil Al Busaidi.
“Products are priced in the store from as low as 1,500 Sindbad miles, making it accessible to all members.”
Muscat Duty Free Operations Manager Pat O Connor commented: “This is just the next step in our rewards for Oman Air customers as we also offer exclusive discounts and promotions to Sindbad Members at various times throughout the year.
“The launch of the site is coinciding with the Eid Al Adha holiday which is traditionally one of our busiest periods; Sindbad members will now be able to spend their miles to purchase gifts for their loved ones during the holiday season.”
