UK fashion accessories specialist Nadia Minkoff London has created a jewellery gift set exclusively for Virgin Atlantic Airways’ inflight shopping magazine.
Listed in the Olympic Games edition of Retail Therapy magazine from April 1 to September 2012, the London Eye necklace and matching charm bracelet set features Crystallized Swarovski Elements and pearls, with an encrusted London Eye charm. The bracelet has seven charms, including a retro camera, a teapot, a cupcake and a postcard.
Created exclusively for Virgin Atlantic, the gift set is presented in gift packaging, commissioned by Nadia Minkoff and created by up-and-coming London print artist Adam Bartlett, depicting London landmarks.
In addition to her jewellery collection in the retail pages of the magazine – which also includes the Nadia Minkoff Teapot & Cupcake charm necklace – Nadia has also been selected as one of the featured designers in the editorial section of the award-winning inflight magazine.
Commenting on the new range, Tourvest Duty Free Luxury & Gifting Buyer Tracy Cilliers said: “We felt the items we selected for Virgin Atlantic were a good fit to the airline, as they are quirky, but yet proudly British. With all the hype going on in the UK at the moment with the Olympics, Wimbledon and the Queen’s [Diamond] Jubilee, we thought the products would be good memorabilia, especially as they are designed by a well-known British designer Nadia Minkoff.”
