UAE. As Abu Dhabi Airports encourages travellers to sample its country’s traditions and cultures, it has opened a henna tent in Terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
It is one of a series of initiatives aimed at attracting more visitors to the UAE capital city, and to enrich the passenger experience at its airport.

For a small donation in support of Abu Dhabi Airports’ Year of Giving campaign, passengers can have a temporary henna design of their choice drawn on their hands.
Abu Dhabi Airports Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdul Majeed Al Khoori said: “The henna tent is just one of a number of creative initiatives that our passengers will see at Abu Dhabi International Airport over the coming months.

“We would like to showcase Abu Dhabi’s DNA, and the UAE’s core culture and heritage, to all travellers, so that they can experience our rich history as soon as they step off their plane. We have so many wonderful traditions in our country that we can share with our guests, and we look forward to them enjoying our fantastic passenger experience, giving them a unique Sense of Place.”
