Cartier has released a new masculine fragrance, L’Envol de Cartier.
The scent is pre-launching this month (August) with Dubai Duty Free before a global roll-out on 1 September. The fragrance is being promoted via a visual campaign in Concourse B as well as on Dubai Duty Free‘s website. According to Cartier, initial sales are “promising”.
L’Envol de Cartier, created by Mathilde Laurent, is said to be inspired by the audacity and ambition of the Cartier brothers and Brazilian aviation pioneer Santos-Dumont.
The juice itself is based on hydromel, the drink that the gods of Olympus used to become immortal. The three main ingredients are musk, Gaïac wood and honey.
L’Envol de Cartier is housed in a levitating ampoule, which is made in two parts. The ampoule is refillable and is protected with a removable glass dome. The bottle top is decorated with the ‘guillochage’ pattern found on Cartier watches and features a wheel which turns to enable the perfume to be sprayed.
Fragrance packaging is blue-grey and features a blue logo square.
L’Envol de Cartier is available as a 50ml, 80ml, 100ml and 100ml refillable EDP.
The fragrance line also includes a stick deodorant, shower gel and perfumed grooming oil.
