RUSSIA. Moscow Domodedovo Airport Terminal 2’s new zone has been opened in test mode and successfully served its first passenger flight.
The airport’s medical clinic DMEMED is operating in the segment.

The airport company said the zone will also soon be home to the largest mother and child room among all Moscow airports.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport press secretary Alexey Artemenko said: “T2 has witnessed the take-off of its first passengers. This is a new milestone both in the history of Domodedovo Airport and in the history of domestic civil aviation. It is gratifying that such a significant event took place during the airport’s 6oth anniversary.”
Moscow Domodedovo Airport T2’s first section was opened in 2018 to serve international passengers attending the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The airport served 25 million passengers in 2021.
