New No1 Lounge opens at London Gatwick South Terminal

UK. No1 Lounges has opened its latest lounge at London Gatwick South Terminal, under its My Lounge brand.

The new “loft-inspired” lounge, featuring a “grazing” menu, self-serve bar and cocktail area, plus a games room, is the company’s 11th in Britain. Its other sites are at London Heathrow, Edinburgh and Birmingham. Uniquely for Gatwick, the site also includes an outdoor seating terrace with views of the airport.

The new lounge is No1’s sixth at Gatwick and 11th in Britain.

Its My Lounge brand is aimed at the premium economy and leisure markets. No1 also offers No1 Lounges, a business-class brand, and Clubrooms as its first-class brand.

Norwegian Airlines’ premium long-haul passengers will have automatic access to the new lounge, which is available for passengers to pre-book at £24 per person.

No1 Lounges Founder and CEO Phil Cameron said: “This new opening ensures we can offer the greatest choice of experiences, from informal to first-class lounging, and meet ever-increasing demand.”

Gatwick Airport Chief Commercial Officer Guy Stephenson said: “The launch of No1’s My Lounge in Gatwick’s South Terminal is great news for the 46 million passengers who travel through Gatwick every year.”

The company says it will host 1.5 million passengers in its lounges this year.
