AUSTRALIA. HDS Retail Asia Pacific has opened two NewsLink stores within the Tiger Terminals of Melbourne and Gold Coast airports.
Tiger Airways, a new airline within the Australian market, caters primarily to the leisure traveller. It flies domestic routes using nine airports – Melbourne, Adelaide, Alice Springs, Canberra, Gold Coast, Hobart, Mackay, Newcastle and Rockhampton.

NewsLink offers a wide range of reading materials, stationery products and essential convenience items for travellers. It has over 50 stores across the Asia Pacific region and is part of the HDS Retail Asia Pacific network, which itself embraces more than 100 stores within Australia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
HDS Retail Asia Pacific General Manager (Australia) Luc Mansion said: “We are excited by the further opportunity to work with Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) and Gold Coast Airport Limited with the opening of these two new stores.”
