GERMANY. German toy brand Nici and international boy band US5 are launching an exclusive picture calendar in aid of the Tribute to Bambi Foundation, a German charity for children in need.
The calendar, which is autographed by the band, features Nici’s Devil & Angel characters as well as US5. It is available in a limited edition of 333 copies at www.nici.de and in the Nici shops.
Proceeds from the sale will go entirely to the Tribute to Bambi Foundation, a charity initiative launched in 2001 to help needy children in Germany. This year the initiative will focus on lunch programmes and homework tutoring.
Nici’s Devil & Angel collection has been available in numerous plush variations since October, including pendants, keychains, pillows and cups. The two characters will be accompanying US5 on their “In Control Tour 2007”.

At the end of each year, Hubert Burda Media honours creative visionaries who have enthused the German public with the media prize Bambi.
