SWITZERLAND. The Nuance Group officially opened 600 sq m of new shops at Zurich Airport’s Dock E on 1 September.
Nuance, which holds the duty free concession for Zurich Airport, will be operating two major tax and duty free stores as well as two outlets featuring fashion and destination products. Nuance’s offer at the new terminal is complemented by two retail islands showcasing fashion watches and jewellery.
The new Dock E at Zurich Airport is being opened in two phases. The east part, which includes a Nuance tax and duty free store covering some 150 sq m and featuring a walk-in humidor, officially welcomed its first passengers on 1 September. Cocoon Fashion + Accessories, a tried-and-tested Nuance store concept, complements the shopping offer with fasion, fashion accessories, lingerie, watches and jewellery, sunglasses and travel accessories, and featuring three shops in the shop for the Burberry, Montblanc and Hugo Boss brands.
The opening of the terminal’s west part is scheduled for September 15. In the west wing Nuance will be operating another tax and duty free store, a “Spirit of Switzerland” destination concept and two retail islands offering fashion watches and fashion jewellery. The 200 sqm “Spirit of Switzerland” store furthermore contains a traditional Swiss “k Kiosk” offering newspapers as well as cigarettes, chocolates and travel accessories, the result of a co-operation between Nuance and the Valora Group.
