Nuance-Watson (HK) and Longchamp team up to open Hong Kong International Airport store – 13/07/09

HONG KONG. Nuance-Watson (Hong Kong) and Longchamp have jointly unveiled a boutique dedicated to the brand in a newly expanded retail space at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 1 East Hall. The new 60sq m stand-alone boutique enjoys a two-sided frontage at the heart of the East Hall retail zone facing the major passenger path to the Central Concourse and West Hall.

The new store was officially opened by Nuance-Watson (HK) Regional Managing Director, North Asia Alessandra Piovesana; Longchamp International Director Stephane Beraud; Longchamp Area Manager, Asia Pacific Mollie Roger; Airport Authority HK General Manager, Retail & Advertising Business, Marketing & Business Development Eva Tsang; and Nuance-Watson (HK) General Manager, Operations Clarice Au.

Along with the grand opening event was a sneak preview of Longchamp’s new wave of chic ‘IT’ bags demonstrated by China’s top model Pei Bei. Other prominent guests at the opening included China’s Miss World 2008 Tiaz Jiang and several local celebrity models.

“We take pride in launching Longchamp in this new expanded location,” said Piovesana at the opening. “Our partnership with the brand dates back to 2000, and we have been operating a stand-alone boutique since 2003. Longchamp is one of the many brands we have introduced and grown in our general merchandise stores and later successfully promoted through stand-alone concepts. We are committed to continuing to satisfy our customers in close partnership with our brands and the airport authority, while ascertaining the best exposure and return for the brands at our airport.”

In the new boutique Longchamp will present a comprehensive assortment, from travel bags and luggage to handbags, wallets and accessories.
