Nuance-Watson (HK) says it has invested heavily in an upgrade of its Temptation Duty Free gondolas |
HONG KONG. Nuance-Watson (HK) is upgrading its Temptation Duty Free beauty stores with what it said is a multi-million Dollar investment in new fragrance gondolas. The move will dramatically improve the presentation of the category at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), it added.
Nuance-Watson (HK) General Manager, Perfume & Cosmetics and Technology Tan Lay Leng said: “This continued investment aims to maximise and support a further growth of the perfume & cosmetics category, demonstrating yet another example of the Nuance-Watson’s dynamism in steering strategic partnerships with key vendors to constantly add values and uplift the appeal of the category so as to satisfy the evolving needs and aspiration of customers at HKIA.”
As fragrance is a highly impulsive category, the retailer said, the new-look fragrance area at the forefront of the stores will “further enhance customers’ penetration and favour impulse purchases”.
The new fragrance gondolas aim to enhance the displays of promotional signage and free gifts, capturing customers’ interest. Prominent hosting areas showcase a colourful statement of fragrance bottles, and give the brands stronger visibility and presentation, Nuance-Watson added. With dedicated tester areas, customers are invited to try the fragrances before purchase.
As part of HKIA’s airport-wide commitment to carbon reduction, Nuance-Watson has taken into consideration of energy efficiency in the construction of the new gondolas, using energy-saving LED lighting to optimise the illumination level.
Nuance-Watson said: “The new gondola sets have given customers a broader perception of the brands’ offers in the stores and present a fresh, dynamic and innovative shopping environment.”
