Olmeca unveils limited edition bottle exclusively for travel retail

Olmeca has launched a new limited edition bottle of its Gold Tequila Supremo expression, exclusive to travel retail.

Available for a limited time in selected airports in Turkey, Russia and Mexico, the bottle (presented in our unique Moodie Magnifier below) has a glossy red finish and shiny gold cap and neck – designed for prominent on-shelf presence.

Retaining the sculptured bottle shape and textured style of the original Olmeca Tequila range, this limited edition is being positioned as “the perfect drink for celebrations” and underlines Olmeca’s commitment to creative marketing.

Olmeca International Vice President Olivier Fages said: “Travel retail continues to be an important sector for us. With this bright, engaging packaging, we aim to evoke enthusiasm for the tequila category among consumers by appealing to their appetite for enjoyment and celebrations.

The limited edition Gold Tequila Supremo bottle is currently available in Turkey’s Antalya and Istanbul Ataturk Airport, Moscow’s Domodedevo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo Airports and Mexico City Airport. Plans are also in place to roll out the release into airports in Canada, said to be one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for tequila.
