Luxury house Chanel recently welcomed select media to a Chanel School of Makeup pop-up at its flagship boutique in Covent Garden, London.

The Moodie Davitt Report Brands Director Hannah Tan-Gillies was on location for the complexion masterclass led by Chanel UK Makeup Artist Anna Payne.

Payne took guests on a step-by-step cleansing, prepping, priming and makeup routine to achieve the perfect summer complexion using Chanel skincare and makeup products. Payne shared her top tricks and tips to beauty media and also discussed her go-to Chanel products.

Chanel took The Moodie Davitt Report to its new flagship boutique in Battersea Power Station to sample the brand’s range of beauty and fragrance services. At the boutique, Chanel showcased the similar services available in its travel retail stores.

This included a fragrance consultation led by a Chanel Beauty Advisor who talked about the inspirations behind the Chanel Les Exclusifs collection.

The range of unisex fragrances pays homage to key moments and figures in the life of brand Founder Gabrielle Coco Chanel.

Industrial elements feature throughout the Chanel boutique, paying homage to the building’s past as a power station

The flagship features Chanel’s signature black, white and gold palette with industrial elements that honour the heritage of the Battersea Power Station. The triple-axis boutique offers the brand’s makeup, skincare and fragrance lines which are featured through distinctive product zones.

An interactive makeup table greets guests at the entrance, flanked by fragrance and skincare on either side. Virtual Try-On screens elevate the makeup discovery journey, enabling shoppers to create full virtual looks from lips, eyes and nails.

Shoppers can enjoy one-to-one makeup consultations and a bespoke fragrance profiling session at the Les Chanel Exclusifs Corner.

The boutique also offers an eyewear wall featuring 45 different Chanel sunglasses styles.
