The new Starting Over moisturiser from Origins |
UK. Origins is poised to introduce a new skincare product in January 2010. Origins Starting Overâ„¢ Age-erasing Moisturizer with Mimosa is said to visibly level lines and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, thanks to nature not needles.
“At Origins we look to nature for inspiration and science for validation,” noted Lieve Declercq, Origins Global Spokesperson of Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology. “While studying natural ingredients in the plant world we uncovered the renewing powers of the Mimosa Tree. Specifically, [its] bark helps skin boost its own natural collagen. We were thrilled to put its hidden talents to use as the key ingredient in Starting Overâ„¢.”
Starting Overâ„¢ is said to provide results from initial use. Argan Leaf and Green Algae work with Mimosa Tree Bark to help skin boost its own natural collagen. A skin evening complex containing Apple extract, Cucumber extract and Scutellaria Baicalensis Root addresses dull and uneven looking skin tone. Resurfacing agents of Chestnut-Castenae Sativa Extract, Salicylic Acid and Mannose Phosphate from corn help weaken the bonds that anchor dead skin cells helping to resurface the skin’s appearance.
With faithful use, skin appears less lined and looks noticeably more uniform and luminous, according to Origins.
Two formulations are available, one of which is oil-free.
