The Light Years Ahead range is aimed at the Asia Pacific market |
UK. Origins has extended its Light Years Ahead range which uses the power of plants to help counteract skin discolouration.
Aimed at the Asian market, the new items are:
Light Years Ahead Intensive Spot treatment for face and eyes with Whitessence: Described as an intensive spot treatment featuring the powerful Whitessence Complex, the product was launched in Hawaii and Asia Pacific in February 2007.
Light Years Ahead Nighttime anti-wrinkle treatment: The combination of antioxidants and other ingredients work to decrease the appearance of lines and wrinkles while brightening and moisturising skin as you sleep. The product hit the shelves in Hawaii and Asia Pacific in February.
Light Years Ahead Whitening sheet mask: A reviving, relaxing facial treatment, which drenches your skin in plant soothers. The product was introduced in Hawaii and Asia Pacific outlets from March.
Origins Hair Stylists
In a second product launch, the brand has introduced Origins Hair Stylists, to complement the brand’s shampoos and conditioners.
University of Mane Soft styling gel is claimed to provide light hold and styling without flakes or stickiness. The lightweight gel smooths and slicks back hair while leaving strands soft and brushable.
Hair Dresser Smooth styling cream is a grooming product for all types of hair, including frizzy, processed or coarse.
Ain’t Misbehaving Lightweight hair spray, presented in a pump, is designed to leave hair in place all day resisting humidity and reducing static.

Limited-edition eyeshadows have gone on sale at Copenhagen Airport |
The three new Origins Hair Stylists products were introduced in the Americas and Asia Pacific travel retail doors from February 2007.
Origins eyes Danish gateway
In separate news, Origins has introduced two new limited-edition shades of powder eyeshadow to its make-up range at Copenhagen Airport.
The crease-resistant formula contains Vitamin E and is said to glide on gently. It is presented in a sleek compact complete with mirror and eye shadow applicator.
The eyeshadows made their debut on the Origins counter at Copenhagen Airport from February.
