Ospree Duty Free launches landmark ‘Duty Free Now Free’ value-back campaign across Indian airports

Duty Free Now Free is positioned as more than a retail offer as it engages with travellers through lifestyle and travel privileges

INDIA. Ospree Duty Free has introduced its first nationwide value-back campaign, ‘Duty Free Now Free’, a year-long initiative designed to reward shoppers with travel and lifestyle privileges equivalent to the value of their purchases.

The campaign was launched in June across participating airports in India, with the hero activation at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport showcasing the largest portfolio of brand partners.

A digital-first redemption journey: Travellers unlock value instantly at the checkout, with rewards delivered via WhatsApp through a seamless QR code-enabled process

The initiative is powered by a digital rewards ecosystem that converts every purchase at Ospree Duty Free into benefits within the Adani Group portfolio and its partner network.

Travellers can enjoy privileges such as Pranaam premium airport services, parking benefits, value-added travel bookings via Yatra and Ixigo and hospitality perks across the Adani ecosystem including Cococafe, Adani Lounge, Common House Brewery and Skybites Inflight Meals.

Redemption is enabled through a simple digital process. Shoppers scan a QR code at checkout, submit their details and receive a personalised voucher directly on WhatsApp.

While Mumbai Airport is the flagship location, the campaign has also been rolled out across Ospree Duty Free’s regional duty free stores in Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Mangalore and Amritsar.

At Mumbai, the total value-back potential exceeds ₹20,000 (US$229) while regional airports offer value back of more than ₹10,000 (US$114). These thresholds are tailored to the specific traveller profiles of each airport, ensuring that benefits remain relevant across India’s diverse traveller base.

Ospree Duty Free said: “This expansion ensures that shoppers across India whether flying from a metro hub or a regional destination can enjoy a consistent, premium, and rewarding Ospree Duty Free experience. Because great value shouldn’t be confined to one city it should be everywhere.”

Ospree Duty Free plans to expand the campaign over the next year with additional brand partners and a wider range of benefits.

Ospree Duty Free has extended the campaign to Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Mangalore and Amritsar, tailoring value thresholds to each market
