OTG brings local favourite Twinburger to Minneapolis-St Paul

USA. OTG has opened Twinburger in Concourse G at Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport, bringing the total number of locations opened by the travel restaurateur on the concourse over the past year to 15.

One of the highlights of the offering at the new restaurant is the Jucy Lucy, a local creation which takes two beef patties and melts the cheese on the inside. It was originally created at local fixture Matt’s Bar over 50 years ago.

The restaurant will also offer guests OTG’s iPad technology, which allows them to browse a visual menu translatable in 20 different languages, have access to real-time flight information, and also browse the web.

With 18 iPads at this new location, OTG has now deployed 1,000 across the concourse, with around 1,500 more to be introduced by early next year.

OTG Chief Executive Rick Blatstein said: “Twinburger brings a wonderful sense of place to the concourse. Here, travellers can experience the famed Jucy Lucy in a space that is fun and vibrant, as well as enjoy the complimentary iPads that fill the counter.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with [Matt’s Bar owner] Scott Nelson on what is truly a locally inspired concept.”
