US. LinkedIn has announced F&B operator OTG as one of the top 25 companies to work for in the travel and hospitality industry for 2022. The Industry Edition Top 25 list helps professionals find the best companies to kickstart or grow their careers.
The Industry Edition List is the latest addition to the ‘LinkedIn Lists’ series, which celebrates people and companies that are making a positive impact.
OTG develops and operates restaurants in airports across North America. It has 350 locations across 22 terminals in 10 of the region’s biggest airports. It employs 5,000 people.
“We are truly honoured to receive this prestigious award from LinkedIn,” commented OTG Founder & CEO Rick Blatstein. “Thank you to all our hardworking crew members for making OTG one of the top places to work. Our OTG crew members are the secret sauce to the success of our organisation, which is why we are dedicated to listening and investing to continue to improve the employee experience. I am very excited for the future of OTG.”
The Industry Edition List highlights the best companies to grow in across nine different industries in the US. It is compiled by LinkedIn News editors using a specific methodology and is backed by LinkedIn data. The methodology measures seven pillars: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and educational background.
According to OTG, it ranked highly for its ability to attract and retain talent, its efforts towards bridging the gender pay gap, its commitment to diversity hiring and its attractive advancement opportunities.
OTG Executive Vice President of Human Resources Alan House added, “OTG is committed to a diverse and inclusive culture that allows our crew members to grow both personally and professionally. We are excited to receive this award as it is a true testament of OTG’s commitment to our crew members.”
OTG Senior Director of Human Resources Vanessa Cabrera added, “Being in the hospitality industry working in human resources for over 25 plus years has been an exciting journey. OTG has fostered my HR career by providing ample growth opportunities during my tenure. I am extremely excited about the award and recognition OTG has received and I look forward to what is in store for this amazing company.”
