Overwhelmingly positive response to The Trinity Forum 2023

HONG KONG, CHINA/INTERNATIONAL. Highly positive feedback on The Trinity Forum 2023 in Hong Kong has been pouring into The Moodie Davitt Report both directly and on LinkedIn from speakers, panellists and delegates. Here, we present some highlight posts and comments from the key business social media platform.

Conference highlight: Avolta CEO Xavier Rossinyol delivers an inspiring keynote address on day one of The Trinity Forum, which attracted more than 400 delegates

The world’s most influential airport commercial revenues conference – owned by The Moodie Davitt Report and co-organised with Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific and Middle East and ACI World – was hosted in great style this year by Hong Kong International Airport.

The compelling two-day conference programme was staged at the Skycity Regala Hotel, while the key social events were staged at two great venues: Murray Hotel’s Popinjays (Opening Cocktail) and Rosewood Hong Kong (Gala Dinner – see image below).

This week I attended The Trinity Forum 2023 and discovered some exciting initiatives happening in the commercial arena in airports around the world. Team CAVU met some great friends, new and old, and can’t wait to catch up again soon.

CAVU Director Growth APAC Craig Pring

Great to be in Hong Kong for The Moodie Davitt Report Trinity Forum. The focus on what we can achieve in partnership in our travel world is the way for greater progress and the right evolution.

Diageo Managing Director Global Travel Andrew Cowan

After The Trinity Forum conference, we commonly agreed that unity in business goes beyond mere collaboration; it is about creating a strong bond based on lifting each other up, challenging the status quo, getting into the unknown together and sharing an aligned vision, all focusing on the end-consumer/guest/pax. Everyone agreed: the rewards of a unified partnership are immense – so let’s strive to build unity in our businesses, creating a strong foundation for growth, collaboration, and mutual success. Travel retail let’s do this!

Victorinox Head Global Travel Retail & Fragrance Sales Gloria Dix

Great to be here in Hong Kong for The Trinity Forum and hear interesting perspectives on the future of the airport sector and airport retail. It is good to see strong expectations in terms of passenger recovery, as well as duty free regaining its importance as a source of non-aeronautical revenue.

TW.O & Partners Senior Executive VP Marco Passoni

What a wonderful few days of travel retail magic back in Hong Kong at The Trinty Forum! So exciting to see and feel the energy of our spectacular industry back and booming after the past few dark and difficult years.

Cannot wait. Looking forward to supporting the event in my adopted homeland. What a country. Everyone will have a memorable experience. Thanks Moodie Davitt for the support to Vietnam and to the APAC region. Well done to Phillip and the IPP group also for the continued drive and entrepreneurship in travel retail.

HMSHost Regional Managing Director Asia Pacific David Mackay

What incredible news and so exciting for Vietnam, my home for over a decade. With the way this segment continues to grow I can’t think of a more appropriate location and know that IPP Travel will be present the very best of Vietnamese hospitality.
